Brazil, understood from within

MundiOCA is a boutique destination management company and incoming tour operator based in Rio de Janeiro. We create tailor-made journeys and cultural experiences throughout Brazil for international travellers, private groups, cultural institutions and travel partners.

Our work is rooted in art, architecture, design, nature and contemporary Brazilian culture. We go beyond familiar images and conventional routes to reveal a more complex, creative and authentic Brazil.

Our story

MundiOCA was founded by Natalia Vdovichenko, a licensed tour guide, cultural producer and travel designer who has lived in Brazil for more than 16 years.

Before entering the travel industry, Natalia worked in fashion and audiovisual production, including cinema. This background shaped her visual sensitivity, attention to detail and ability to transform an initial concept into a carefully coordinated experience. It also informs MundiOCA’s distinctive approach to Brazil through architecture, design, contemporary art, landscapes and visual culture.

Her perspective combines the curiosity of someone raised in another culture with an intimate understanding of Brazilian life. Years of travel, research and professional experience have allowed her to build a trusted network of guides, artists, architects, cultural specialists, production professionals, drivers, hotels and local partners throughout the country.

She designs and coordinates journeys for international travellers, art collectors, cultural professionals, families, private groups and corporate clients. She also personally offers private guiding in Rio de Janeiro in English, Portuguese and Russian.

The name MundiOCA brings together two ideas: “Mundi”, representing the world, and “Oca”, a word of Indigenous origin associated with home. It reflects our purpose: to welcome international travellers into Brazil with knowledge, care and a genuine sense of connection.
